A look back at the France XV’s travels

Every year, we enable thousands of fans to attend matches in one of rugby’s greatest competitions: the Six Nations Tournament, contested by the men’s teams from England, Scotland, France, Wales, Ireland and Italy. A not-to-be-missed event for thousands of rugby fans !

First stop: Dolce Vita in Rome

For the first trip of the XV de France to the Tournois des IV nations, over 500 fans made their way to the Italian capital. With visits to the jewels of the Roman city, local gastronomy, victory over the Italian team and meetings with former international rugby players (notably Brian Liebenberg and Christian Califano), the fans of the oval ball enjoyed an unforgettable stay.

Second summit : Stage in the Irish capital

Four years after the XV de France’s last trip to Ireland, with a capacity crowd in the stands, rugby’s two greatest nations met again. All the ingredients were in place for a high-flying match.
The Irish held their nerve to win 32-19, and despite the thousands of French fans who turned out at Aviva Stadium, Les Bleus were unable to break down the world’s number one team. An impressive sporting spectacle opened its doors to more than 1,600 fans, both in the streets of Dublin and on the stadium pitch, for the duration of the weekend.

Last stop : Team Time in the English capital

At the end of a day of discovery in the English capital, fans of the oval ball witnessed a crushing victory for Les Bleus, with 53 points to England’s 10, the French team’s first success on London soil since 2005.
Between a convivial moment in Hyde Park, a typical dinner in an English pub and the historic victory of the XV de France, the 600 MyComm supporters returned home with stars in their eyes !
